Oper Leipzig Roadshow 2026
Platform Members, Roadshow
The campaign offers personal portraits of professionals from different areas of Oper Leipzig, introducing audiences to the individuals whose work makes performances possible. The project focuses particularly on young and early-career staff while providing insights into their motivations, professional experiences and roles within the institution.
Among the professionals featured are Luke Krzyzanowski, an apprentice event technology specialist, and Mirjam Winkler, who works in the costume department as a dresser. Oper Leipzig confirmed the publication of videos featuring both professionals in June 2026.
Rather than focusing exclusively on what audiences see on stage, the campaign explores the wider ecosystem of skills and professions that sustain an opera house. Sustainable working processes, inclusive working environments and the theatre’s ongoing digital development are central themes throughout the project.
Through video and social media, Wer ist die Oper Leipzig? creates greater visibility for emerging professionals while inviting audiences to discover an opera house from a different perspective: through the people who contribute to its creative and technical life every day.
